Feature Request

Hey, I was working in Doc360 and noticed that when I'm using the Find and Replace feature, it can be really annoying to refresh the search results. Right now, if something changes in the document and I want to see if my Find and Replace results are still accurate, I have to either mess with the search criteria or refresh the whole browser page, which makes me lose my current search. Could we possibly get a simple "Refresh" button added right there in the Find and Replace window? That way, I can just click refresh and update my search results without having to lose my current settings or reload everything. It would be a huge quality-of-life improvement!

When switching/clicking between the 'Find' and 'Replace' views in Doc360, please stop the article toggle selection (the list of articles) from resetting. The Problem: Currently, if I select several articles in the list and then click over to the 'Replace' view and back to 'Find' (or vice versa), my entire selection is lost, and the list scrolls back to the top. This makes it impossible to perform bulk selection across many articles, as I have to scroll and re-select everything from scratch after every switch. Could we make sure that switching between the 'Find' and 'Replace' options doesn't reset my list of selected articles? Right now, if I'm trying to select articles to replace content in, and I flip back and forth between the two views, the whole list of articles refreshes. It kicks me out of my selection, makes me lose my place, and forces me to scroll and re-select everything again. It's a huge pain when I'm trying to choose a lot of articles at once

I've got a feature idea that I think would be a huge time-saver when we're working in Doc360. You know how sometimes you're using Find and Replace to update a word or phrase across a document, but you accidentally end up changing things in sections that are marked as deprecated or older content we're not supposed to touch? It's a real pain to go back and fix those. So, my suggestion is simple: let's add a toggle switch right in the Find and Replace window. When it's flipped on, the tool will automatically skip over any content that's tagged as deprecated, letting us make our necessary updates quickly and confidently without worrying about accidentally messing up historical data.

Currently on a project to replace a word which can be either capitalised or lower case which occurs hundreds of times across hundreds of articles. But global find & replace really seems to lack basic functionality: * You can't find the word specific to it's sentence case, results show both lower and upper case instances making the global replace feature pointless. You should be able to globally find the word if it is capitalised and replace with capitalised, same with lowercase. * Lack of basic and needed filtering i.e. categories, why cant you add a filter for your categories? * Results from your find don't show articles in the order they are through your KB. So the request: 1) Global find and replace to be sentence case 2) Improve filter options including Categories 3) Article search results in order as per KB.

Matching case when doing find and replace is a basic option of the function. It has little usefulness without this option.

Customer would like to incorporate regex patterns to be used for find & replace when searching for a term and while replacing it.

You should be able to limit Find/Replace to specific categories, especially if you need to search for a term that appears often and you have a lot of articles and a lot of categories. Even more since there is an arbitrary threshold of results returned, cf. https://docs.document360.com/docs/find-and-replace?highlight=search%20and%20replace . "The occurrences in a maximum of 1000 articles can be replaced in a single event." The filter options for the Find/Replace function in the portal are not sufficient or even useless, IMHO. For instance: * Tags: If you do not set those, you cannot use them to filter. * Contributors, Visibility: I cannot even imagine, why I would search in topics only restricted by those.

When using the Find and Replace functionality, the system replaces the hyperlink and image sources and replaces the words in the image links added to the article, which led to images being broken. Also, it does not give an option to support case-sensitive search and replace.

This request was created on behalf of TJ I would like to replace a sentence which contains a link. At this time, the link isn't getting replaced with the given text. It would be better if we can replace the sentences with links. Thank you.
