Feature Request

When I have submitted the draft for review, there is no visual indication to remind me I have submitted the draft. I have to go to the article page and click the status dropdown menu to view the status. This is inconvenient. Maybe add the status indication beside the status display or add other visual effect or sign to mark it.

When I need to continue editing an article, it seems obvious to click Edit, but that button only re-forks the article from the published version. Instead, I have to go to Revision history and open the existing fork from there. This results in a confusing and useless pile of forks. I propose the following UI changes: In the kb site, change the Edit article label to Open in portal In the portal, change the Edit button to Create new version in the portal, add a button Edit latest version

Changing the location or hierarchy of categories/topics is seen in the KB immediately. When reorganizing or creating new sections, it would be very helpful to do and see the results inside the editor before they are automatically pushed to the KB.

When creating an article, there are times when certain content—such as links to other articles, pictures, or videos—is not available. I plan to edit and update this content in the future once the resources become available. To manage this, I would like to flag the draft and add a comment to indicate which content needs editing.

When I have created all content of a user manual which is structrued in a set of articles and are combined in a single folder. I want to submit this folder to the reviewer to review. Otherwise, I have to submit one article by one article, which is time consuming.

I believe it will help if the two features, tags and labels, are clear in usage and viewability. IMO, "tags" should be clearly related to taxonomy and be internal facing only (not visible to users). Labels should be external facing (viewable when article is published).

In addition to the current options for review reminders (15, 30, 90, 180, 365 days) as well as the Custom date options (Do not repeat, Month, Year) the need for daily-based would have a positive impact on reviewers accessing and reviewing content (new and updated) in a timely manner. For example: Repeat: • Every day • Every 2 days • Every 3 days • Every week • Every Tuesday etc.

Category pages currently appear only in the category list in 2.0 search. To ensure their content is searchable and displayed, category pages should also be included in the articles list.

When viewing replicates of a replicated article, the list of replicates can be confusing, with many articles of the same title and no differentiation between the replicates (see screenshot). I would like to request an adjustable window size so that the path and article slug can be seen, or display some other information to differentiate between all the replicated articles in the list.

Creating on behalf of one of our customers: There should be an ability to disable notification with a checkbox when publishing an article (revision) or a new article under a category to be sent out to the subscriber. This is because users shouldn't be notified for minor changes.
