It would be helpful when collaborating on articles if there were an option for the initial editor that says they are done for now so that another editor would be able to enter and edit the article without waiting the roughly 15 minutes for the article to unlock.

The customer has provided feedback regarding the new icon colours for article statuses, mentioning that they find them difficult to manage. They have requested the following colour mapping for better clarity: New articles – Blue Draft articles – Yellow Published articles – Green

Currently, linking to a hidden published article is not allowed, as accessing it would result in a 404 error. However, the customer would like the ability to link to such hidden articles so they can prepare interlinks in advance and unhide the articles only after verification.

One of our customers requested the ability to link directly to replicated articles instead of always being redirected to the original source article. Since both currently share the same URL, readers are taken out of their current category, causing confusion. The team suggested allowing unique URLs or local linking for replicated articles to improve navigation and user experience.

We have different versions of our documentation in our knowledge base (folders with v6.5 and v6.6, for example), and when internal support articles or links from external sources are pointed to our documentation, I would like a way to have the link always point to the most recent version of the documentation. So when we add a version 6.7, for example, those links will automatically go there.

"Index" categories currently show only article links with no space for an introduction. I propose adding an optional intro text area at the top of Index categories to give users context while keeping the clickable list intact.

Now we have the location of an article stored behind the info button of the article. Also, in case of nested categories, the user needs to additionally hover over the three dots to see the exact location. Please move the whole location outside as, for example, breadcrumbs (or a similar solution).

When I filter by draft articles, there is no "Unpublish" button. However, draft articles with an older published version should also be in scope for unpublishing, just like regular "published" articles without a draft version.

The favorites show not only the starred articles, but also their replicates. That creates a lot of unnecessary clutter. I use favorites for quick access to edit articles, and having replicates in this list doesn't make sense since they cannot be edited in the first place. If there are reasons why having replicates in the list of favorites does make sense, then a setting to enable/disable replicates in the favorites would be helpful.

When exporting articles from the All Articles section, only the Last Updated date is shown. Customer would like the Published Date to be included in the export as well.
