Feature Request

Hi! Would be great to be able to change an article (after it's been created and published) to a Category with the type Page. If we want to add information but don't want to add it to the article itself it could be necessary to create a new article within the category. Now we would have to create the new category, copy paste all info from the article into the new category and remove the article. This is not very efficient. Thanks, Tim

Hello, I'd like to submit a feature request concerning label and tag filtering. I want to set several filters of the same category (e.g. labels) at once, that are connected with an „AND“-condition, so I only want those articles, which e.g. have both labels „finances“ AND „new". Right now the search filters with an „OR“-condition. Thank you!

Hello, I'd like to submit a feature request which allows to exclude certain articles with a specific label during label filtering in "All articles". E.g. I want to filter for articles with the label „finances“, but I don’t want to have articles with the label „finances“ which additionally have the label „not important“. Thank you!

An article name currently appears exactly the same in the left-side navigation as at the top of the article page itself. This is despite the left-side navigation space being much more limited. It would be great to be able to specify a shortened article name for use in the left-side navigation, whilst maintaining the full article name in the article and search. For example, if I'm documenting an "Acme integration", I might want one article to have two names: Full article name: Setting up the Acme integration in your domain Left-side nav name: Acme

A customer has requested the ability to maintain a single source of truth for a category (eg: release notes) that can be made available across multiple workspaces. Currently, categories can only be cloned, which results in independent copies that require manual updates in each workspace. The customer is looking for a replicate feature for categories, where categories and their articles are linked across workspaces, ensuring that any changes made to the original category are automatically reflected in all other associated workspaces. Further added that this would significantly reduce maintenance overhead and ensure consistency of content across teams.

I would like to have the option to move an article through arrows (up, down, right, and left) rather than just drag and drop within the portal. It’s complicated to drag and drop the topics as it randomly gets placed elsewhere even with a slight miss.

The customer has requested a new access control option that would let them restrict users from reordering articles. Currently, when users are given Draft Writer or Update access, they can also reorder articles.

Just as we can add a Status Indicator ("New", "Updated", etc.) to an Article or Category Page, it would be helpful to be able to assign a Status Indicator to a Category Folder or Index. If I publish a new Category Folder or Index with several new articles, I would like to be able to simply label the Folder or Index as "New" without labeling each Article as "new" to keep a cleaner look in the Knowledge Base.

Introduce an automation capability to automatically move articles from one category or section to another based on defined rules (such as date, release cycle, or status). This would reduce repetitive manual work and ensure consistency in how content is managed month over month.

We store internal documents (like internal glossary and administrative stuff) inside a hidden category directly in the KB. I would find it useful if there was a dedicated repository for internal editorial reference documents that can be accessed directly from within the KB structure or navigation. These documents need to be easily accessible (as few clicks as possible) for productive work. They should be live-editable, but don't need a publication workflow.
