Option to restrict users from reordering articles

The customer has requested a new access control option that would let them restrict users from reordering articles.
Currently, when users are given Draft Writer or Update access, they can also reorder articles.

please at least change the "Reader" role so Readers cannot reorder articles in the backend anymore, thanks

Thank you for sharing this request.
Currently, the ability to reorder articles is managed as part of the content permissions > articles/category under Roles & permission. At this time, users with Draft Writer or Update permissions inherit the capability to reorder articles within those categories.
We understand your need for more granular control over this behavior. We’ll monitor customer traction for this request, and based on broader demand, we’ll evaluate splitting the reorder functionality into a separate permission in a future enhancement.
