Replication Support for Categories Across Workspaces

A customer has requested the ability to maintain a single source of truth for a category (eg: release notes) that can be made available across multiple workspaces. Currently, categories can only be cloned, which results in independent copies that require manual updates in each workspace.
The customer is looking for a replicate feature for categories, where categories and their articles are linked across workspaces, ensuring that any changes made to the original category are automatically reflected in all other associated workspaces. Further added that this would significantly reduce maintenance overhead and ensure consistency of content across teams.

We understand the need for maintaining a single source of truth for categories, such as release notes, and the importance of content consistency across multiple workspaces. The ability to link categories (and their articles) so that updates in one workspace are automatically reflected in others would indeed streamline maintenance and reduce operational overhead—especially for teams managing shared content across multiple products or regions.
At present, this functionality is not part of our current roadmap. The platform currently supports replicating articles both within and across workspaces.
That said, your use case has been noted, and we’ll continue to track demand for this capability. If we see broader traction, we will evaluate its feasibility for future implementation.
