Feature Request

We use a lot of snippets and it is inconvenient that we are unable to rename a snippet. I would like to have the option to rename a snippet or create a second copy of an existing snippet. It is time consuming to create a new snippet and delete the existing one when all I need to do is rename it.

For the global find/replace feature, add the ability to replace static text with variables/snippets. This seems like a fairly common use case. I have a term that appears hundreds of times in my docs, which is currently static text. I want to create a snippet for it, and then replace all instances of the static text with the snippet.

We use snippets for small sets of instructions that are included throughout our documentation. I'd like to be able to include variables such as buttons and field labels within the snippets.

It would be nice if snippets weren't a forced paragraph block element, and could thus be used inline.

With hundreds of snippets to have to scroll through it would be very handy if on the snippet page you can make folders and move snippets to and from folders, it would be a lot better to have say a page of 5-20 folder to easily find the snippet(s) you want than to scroll through hundreds of them, especially as there is no search bar on the snippets page either!

We have some very long named snippets that version 2 just doesn't allow us to continue with our standard naming convention for snippets due to a character limit that does not appear to be an issue or limitation in the regular version of Document360

It would be nice if there were a "smarter" snippet option. In other words, the ability to 1) create snippets directly in an article and/or 2) to add existing content sections with a simple search. See https://clickhelp.com/software-documentation-tool/user-manual/content-snippets.html

There's a use case where we may use a snippet in articles that describe features that are in a Beta Phase. Once they go GA, we want to be able to just delete the snippet so that all articles that were using the snippet now no longer have the snippet (or the code) that says the feature is Beta.

We currently have 130 snippets and over 500 documents that contain these snippets The only possibility to update all our documents is to launch an update on each of the snippets. tedious! It would be useful to implement a function that allows updating in one click

Current situation: Variables support no text formatting at all. Snippets support formatting but always put <p> tags around their content. Problem: If I want to have re-usable content that appears both inline and has formatting, I can't. Even removing the <p> tags from a snippet using the code editor does not work as they get automatically added back in the second I click save. Solutions: 1) Allow formatting of variables including bold, italics, code, and URLs 2) Stop adding <p> tags to snippets when the user explicitly removes them.
