1. Text Formatting Loss
All font formatting (italics, underline, font types, etc.) is stripped during import.
Only bold text is retained.
Coloured text is converted to black.
Highly time-consuming to inspect every line and manually redo formatting.
Increases risk of inconsistent formatting across articles.
  1. Word Import Sanitization
Content gets sanitized during import.
All custom styles and design elements are lost.
Formatting appears plain and requires manual rework.
  1. Broken or Missing Links
Imported DOCX files lose all links:
No cross-references within or across articles.
Hyperlinks to other guides or external sources don’t work.
Requires manual linking for each article.
Increases the risk of broken or missed links.
  1. Image Size Issues
Images appear bloated or oversized post-import.
Must be manually resized one by one.
Risk of ungainly and disproportionate visual appearance.
CSS can be applied to standardize image size, but all images will be forced to the same dimensions.
  1. In-line Icon Alignment Problems
In-line icons drop to the next line.
The text following the icon also shifts to a new line.
Requires manual realignment in each article to maintain visual flow.
