ESSENTIAL ASSET MANAGEMENT ON DRIVE
I am extremely surprised that the only option that we have to define a new folder location for an asset on the Drive is to manually use single clicks to define new folder location. This is crazy!
It look 9 clicks just to move on file into a new folder location. (Pls see image)
- We have no ability to enter destination path or any other, quicker solution.
- We need the option to copy and paste a folder path location into a desired location pathway.
- Even drag and drop is also an option.
Development team: Please escalate this request.
My apologies if this request is already logged by another user but I could not find an obvious title that raised similar issue without spending too much time finding a similar request.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback - we understand the concern around the number of clicks involved when moving assets within Drive.
Currently, within the destination selection window, there is a Search Folder option available. This allows you to quickly locate the required destination folder by searching for its name instead of navigating manually through multiple folder levels using clicks.
Using the search capability significantly reduces the effort required to identify and select the target location when moving files.
That said, we acknowledge your suggestions around improving efficiency further, including options such as entering a folder path directly or enabling drag-and-drop functionality. We will review these enhancements as part of our ongoing usability improvements for Drive and evaluate them based on overall customer demand and impact.
