Tile view in categories

Would be great if we could display the content of a category in clickable tiles instead of a list view. This should then be available in the Index category type.
This would be a more customer friendly way of presenting the contents of a category.

Also, we would like to be able to add a clickable image to each tile. We are now creating tables and adding the images and links to create a clickable grid with tiles but this is a lot of work and hard to maintain.
