Problem Statement: Verifying that a channel and event mapping work correctly requires waiting for a real event to occur, then checking Notification history after the fact. There is no way to trigger a sample notification on demand during setup.
Suggested Enhancement: Add a "Send test notification" action on the Notification channels and Notification mapping screens so admins can confirm delivery immediately after configuration.
Customer Benefit: Shortens setup verification time and reduces support tickets related to "notifications not received," which the source article's troubleshooting section suggests is a common pain point.

We understand the value of being able to send a test notification while configuring notification channels and mappings, allowing administrators to verify their configuration immediately instead of waiting for a real event.
We'll review this internally and check the feasibility of introducing a "Send test notification" option to simplify setup, validate delivery, and reduce troubleshooting effort during configuration.
We'll share an update once we have more clarity from our evaluation.
