Team auditing for API calls
Harish Ganesan
We have received a request from a user, that he wants to see a record of their API calls to Documet360. The Team Auditing feature does not cover the API calls, it only tracks and audits the portal activities. So please cover the API calls in the Team auditing option.

Hi, for us this is also a welcome feature, we use only the api to create user, update users and delete users, we use azure logic apps to make this happen, I would like to see that i'm able to also select api key's as an audit log filter so I can see what has happend with that specific key

Hi Harish Ganesan
Looking for more details to delve deeper on this request.
API calls are typically authenticated using API tokens, which might not directly associate activities with individual user accounts as clearly as interactions within the portal do.
Could you please clarify if you have specific requirements or expectations on how user-related data should be represented in the audit logs for API calls? For instance, are there specific user identification methods or details you'd like to see associated with each API call to ensure accountability and traceability within your team?
Could you specify which API calls or types of interactions you're most interested in auditing?
What specific information or details about each API call would you find most useful in the audit logs?
What is your preferred retention period for these API call logs?
Could you share more about how you plan to use these audit logs?

Hello Shakeer Hussain S,
They said they plan to integrate with our APIs, but they want to know how to monitor this and get the list of readers created with API.
Further, they want to check their API calls to Doc360 from the team auditing portal since they thought it would be helpful if the API calls were recorded in the team auditing page.
Regarding the retention period and user identification methods, there are no specific requirements from the user.
It looks like they have plans to segregate the reader list based on the mode of admission in the project.
