Task Notifications in Bell Icon & Global Task Access

Currently, the bell notification icon in the portal only displays product/release updates. Since users commonly expect the bell icon to show their assigned tasks and workflow notifications, this creates confusion during daily usage.
It would be valuable if the notification bell could also display assigned workflow tasks or review/approval requests
Additionally, users should receive and access these task notifications from the top notification area while being in any section of the portal, instead of only from the dashboard.
This enhancement would improve workflow visibility, reduce missed tasks, and provide a more intuitive user experience aligned with common industry standards.

Thank you for sharing this feedback.
We understand the expectation that the notification bell icon should also surface:
Assigned workflow tasks
Review/approval requests
Other actionable user notifications
rather than only product/release updates.
We also understand the need for these notifications to be accessible globally across the portal, instead of being limited to the dashboard experience.
We’ll take this as an improvement request and evaluate enhancements to the notification framework to provide a more workflow-oriented and intuitive user experience.
This will be reviewed based on priority, implementation scope, and customer traction, and we’ll share updates if this is taken up in future planning.
