Table of contents missing scroll bar
planned
Shaunna Lacey
In the new KB design, there is no way to scroll in the table of contents. On pages with a long table of contents (lots of headings and sub-headings) the table of contents just cuts off at a certain point, even if you scroll down the entire article.

Hi Shaunna Thank you for sharing the feedback.
In the new KB design, the scroll bar is available at the page level. As you scroll through the content, the Table of Contents (TOC) dynamically highlights the relevant headings.
We are currently evaluating the possibility of incorporating the scroll functionality directly within the TOC. Once the evaluation is complete, we’ll provide you with an update.

Mohamed Shakheen Hello! I see the highlighting as I scroll, but it stops when it reaches the point where the table of contents hits the bottom of my browser page. I assume it's still highlighting the headings, but without the scroll bar I can't see it or quickly click to jump ahead in my document (the main reason we use the table of contents).

Mohamed Shakheen I'm dealing with the same issue as Shaunna. My users would really like the functionality of the scrolling TOC back! The feature being removed in Site 2.0 is a downgrade, especially because we have multiple pages with more headers than can now be seen in the TOC, severely decreasing the functionality of the page for users. Is there a time estimate of when this will be released in Site 2.0?

Marianne Lynch: This will be addressed as part of this month (February 2025) release.
