Support review of glossary entries

Our subject-matter glossary entries need to go through SME review before they are published. This requires kind of a mini-workflow like for articles (including a Publish step). Alternatively, I could imagine that labels or - in this case - simply a "Needs Review" flag would work as well. In any case, it should be possible to create a glossary entry without automatically publishing it right away.

Hi Nearby Cheetah
Thank you for outlining this requirement.
We understand the need to introduce a controlled workflow for Glossary entries, similar to articles, where entries can undergo SME review before being published. This includes capabilities such as:
- Creating glossary entries in a non-published (draft) state
- Introducing a review/approval step prior to publishing
- Supporting mechanisms like labels or a “Needs Review” flag to indicate status
Currently, Glossary entries are published immediately upon creation, and a dedicated workflow or review state is not supported.
That said, we have captured this as a product enhancement request and will evaluate it as part of our any roadmap planning. We see clear value in enabling governance workflows for glossary management, especially for teams with strict review processes. Prioritization will be based on customer demand, impact, and alignment with our broader workflow strategy.
