Subscription to a specific article (article updates)

For collaborators, supervisors and other stakeholders, it would improve the overall quality being able to choose to get any sort of article updates - sort of "subscribing"/following a specific article rather than a specific action or user. E.g. if a team works on something together and need to stay updated on procedures and relevant documents in that department

+1, but for end users as well. Our end users appreciated the ability in Zendesk to subscribe to receive email updates whenever a given article or section is updated.

Any updates on the matter? This function to "receive updates" is currently under the "feedback" module at the bottom of a page.
What if people just want to subscribe to a set of articles (like an RSS feed) and have them displayed conveniently under a personal page, without leaving feedbacks?

Federico Marafin, Zenna Petersen would like to confirm the 2 scenarios you are referring to subscription of articles:
(a) at the knowledge base portal for Contributors - We do send notifications when you are contributor to that article
(b) at the knowledge base site for Readers - we do have an item in our pipeline to implement readers' notification / favorites will be notified once the respective articles are published / updated.
This would help us to proceed further.

Thiru As someone who has created articles, I don't get a notification whenever they have been edited by others. But regardless of my role, whether it is contributor, admin, reader or other, it would be nice with one streamlined simple way to just have a "Subscribe"/"Get notifications" button that anyone can click, and then get notified with any update made to the article. In a perfect world, preferably where you can select what kind of updates you would want to be notified about. Something simple and streamlined :)

This is basic functionality that exists on even the most basic CMS platforms. Its the biggest thing people complain about since we moved to Document 360!
