Simplified and Intuitive User Interface Enhancement

One of our customers shared that while the new step-by-step guide feature is impressive, it currently lacks the ability to automatically generate simplified UI screenshots. Their documentation style relies heavily on simplified visuals where interface details are intentionally minimized using shapes or overlays to keep the focus on key elements and reduce distraction. They currently achieve this using dedicated tools, which help mask or replace detailed sections with neutral-colored rectangles instead of blurring. The customer emphasized that if Document360’s screen-capture tools could automatically apply a similar “simplify UI” mode, it would significantly increase adoption and streamline their documentation workflow.

Hi Venkatesh KG,
Thanks for sharing this feedback! The suggestion to support a “simplified UI” mode for screenshots—where non-essential interface details are automatically masked or replaced with clean shapes—is a valuable one. We can definitely see how this would help teams maintain a consistent visual style and speed up their documentation workflow.
This isn’t something we have on the roadmap right now, but it’s a great idea and we’ll keep an eye on traction. We’ll be sure to keep you posted if it aligns with our roadmap in the future.
