The error message displayed when a user attempts to register with an email address that is already in use does not clearly specify what the error is. The generic error message that displays is leading to frustration and duplicated registrations.

We agree that the current error messaging is unclear and creates unnecessary friction during registration. We’ll treat this as a quick-win enhancement and update the message to clearly indicate when an email address is already in use.
