It would be extremely useful to be able to search using Search Operators. (e.g., OR, AND, "", *, etc.) to make searches more precise.

We would like our customers to be able to search for a phrase, and not just either of the words that they enter.

Hi Chemical Bobcat - Thanks for sharing your inputs. In order to get more clarity, please help me with the answers to the below questions.
Would you like to refine the search results while searching the keyword or would you like to have some advanced filters to refine the resuts?
How would you envision using search operators in our platform? Could you provide some specific examples or use cases?
Which search operators from the reference you provided (Google Advanced Search Operators) do you find most important or useful for your search needs?

Shakeer Hussain S: Hi, thanks for the quick reply.
I think that the following search operators could be valuable as a way to speed up the search/have more focus:
“ ”
OR
AND
-
*
filetype:
(The filetype: one could even be added to the "search result filter" banner - near contributors, tags - to filter article only containing pdf, excels etc.)
There is no syntax to limit the search (wildcards). As a standard we are familiar with the usage of “” “” or + or – to enter a query to restrict the search.
Thanks
