Reset article view when switching from Page Help to Knowledge Base tab in widget

Within the widget, when a user opens an article from the Page Help tab (for example, from Top Searched Articles) and then switches to the Knowledge Base tab, the opened article remains displayed instead of closing and showing the Knowledge Base navigation/content.
This creates an inconsistent experience, as switching tabs in the opposite direction (Knowledge Base → Page Help) correctly resets the view. Improving this interaction so that the article view closes when switching tabs would provide a more predictable and intuitive navigation experience for users.

We understand that when a user opens an article from the Page Help tab (for example, via Top Searched Articles) and then switches to the Knowledge Base tab, the previously opened article continues to remain visible instead of resetting to the Knowledge Base navigation view. As you mentioned, this creates an inconsistent experience since the reverse tab switch (Knowledge Base → Page Help) behaves correctly by resetting the view.
We agree that tab transitions should follow a predictable state management pattern to ensure intuitive navigation within the widget.
We will evaluate this behavior in detail and share the next steps accordingly.
