Request to disable glossary feature and retain terms as plain text when it's deleted

We would like to disable the Glossary term feature for the complete project.
We would also like to retain the Glossary term's name in the article as a plain text if it's deleted.

Thank you for sharing your requirement.
We understand the need to have greater control over the Glossary feature at the project level, including:
- The ability to disable the Glossary feature for an entire project
- Ensuring that when a glossary term is deleted, only the reference/link is removed while the term itself is retained as plain text within the article (i.e., removing the glossary association without impacting the content)
At this point, this capability is not available. However, we have logged this as a product enhancement request and will evaluate it as part of our upcoming future roadmap discussions.
