Recycle bin icon improvement

A customer found the Recycle Bin icon (trash can) unclear, as it typically signifies "delete" rather than a place to view deleted items. They suggested replacing the icon with a clear "Recycle Bin" label or adding a visible tooltip to improve discoverability. This would make navigation more intuitive and align with common design practices.

Hi Stephen, Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting the potential confusion with the Recycle Bin icon.
We’d like to clarify that we currently provide a visible tooltip labeled Recycle bin when users hover over the trash can icon, to help improve discoverability and reduce any ambiguity.
That said, we understand that tooltips may not always provide sufficient clarity at a glance. To help us explore improvements further- would you prefer to see a text label such as Recycle bin shown alongside the icon at all times, or do you believe the icon should be replaced entirely with a text label?
Your input will help us ensure the UI is more intuitive and aligns with user expectations. Looking forward to your thoughts.

Mohamed Shakheen Replace entirely please. Thank you!

Thank you. Much better to have clear "Recycle bin" label. I think having a visible tooltip while keeping the garbage can icon would not go far enough. Thanks.
