Problem Statement:
Some customers of Document360 have end-users or clients who enforce strict "No AI" policies. In such cases, enabling Eddy AI search for these users could violate compliance requirements or contractual obligations.
Proposed Enhancement:
Introduce a configurable setting that allows administrators to enable or disable Eddy AI search at the reader group level, ensuring that AI features are only available to groups that permit them.
Key Requirements:
Reader Group-Level Control:
  • Add a toggle or permission setting in the admin panel to control Eddy AI search availability for each reader group.
  • This setting should be clearly visible and manageable within the reader group configuration interface.
JWT Reader Group Compatibility:
  • Ensure that the enhancement supports JWT-based reader groups, allowing dynamic control based on JWT claims.
  • The system should respect the AI search toggle during JWT token validation and reader group assignment.
