Private Content - Permission Request Button

I want to be able to have locked content be visible on our site but not show any details of the article, just the title. If the article is clicked on, it should display a "request access" menu where users can type out a short message of why they need access. I want to then be able to review these requests and determine whether to grant or deny access to the document. This menu should require users to be logged in, that way we can verify their email address.

Hi Matthew
Thank you for sharing this thoughtful enhancement request regarding locked content visibility and access control.
We understand the need to display only the article title to hint at the existence of restricted content, while preventing unauthorized access to its contents. Your idea of providing a "Request Access" flow - where users can submit a justification for access and have that routed for manual review - is a well-structured approach to balancing discoverability with content control.
This use case is not part of our current roadmap, but we recognize its potential value in content governance workflows, especially for teams managing internal documentation or sensitive materials.
We will continue to monitor similar feedback to assess traction and alignment with future roadmap planning.
