Option to hide "Filter by name" box

I have seen users think that the navigation "Filter by name" box is the site search and then fail to find the article they are looking for because it is just a navigation filter (rather than the search they were expecting). Also, in KB Site 2.0, the "Filter by name" box is more prominent than the search box, which is smaller and tucked away on the right-hand side of the KB website, so I expect more users to be confused in the way I described after we migrate. Please can we have an option to hide the "Filter by name" box in the KB website?

Support may be able to provide some custom code to hide the search box.

Hi Celestial blue Jaguar,
Thank you for sharing this feedback.
We understand the confusion caused by the “Filter by name” navigation box being mistaken for site search, especially given its prominence in KB Site 2.0.
Currently, there isn’t an option to hide the “Filter by name” box. However, as a workaround, you can reposition the main search bar to the left panel via KB Site Customization, which makes the actual search more prominent and reduces user confusion.
This can be configured under:
KB Site Customization -> Documentation→ Search bar → Position → Left panel
Could you please confirm if this approach would sufficiently address your use case, or if you’re still seeing confusion even after repositioning the search bar?
