Option to filter Articles based on the creation date

Is there a way to determine how many new articles have been created in the past year? I would like to filter the articles based on their "Created at" date.

I'd also see a lot of value for our content workflow in being able to export the article list with the creation date or first publication date, along with the latest modification/update dates.
