Notify Internally on PDF Exports via KB Site

As users export a PDF of the help topics from the KB Site, we have no way of knowing whether or not the export was successful, or what article was exported.
We want the ability for Doc360 to notify admins or editors about articles that are exported. This lets us evaluate the need, for example, what articles are most sought after and plan improvements accordingly (if any).
Additionally, internal tracking helps us with statistics of the user footfall on a particular set of pages. This should also entail an Event Log setting that tells us of the successful export. Ideally, an email should be sent with the details of the export.
Let us know if we can assist further with the ask.

Hi Concrete Swordfish,
Thank you for sharing this detailed request. We understand how visibility into PDF export activity—including whether an export was successful and which articles were exported—would be valuable for analytics, content planning, and understanding user engagement.
We’ll take this as an improvement request and add it to our backlog. We’ll review the technical feasibility, evaluate the scope and priority, and assess how this could integrate with existing analytics and event logging capabilities (including notifications or email alerts).
Once we have more clarity from our internal review, we’ll share an update. Thanks again for outlining the use case so clearly—it’s very helpful for evaluation.

Adding to the above.
- The export referenced here is for the 'customer-facing published KB site' and not the internal KB site that admins and editors have access to.
- The 'Event Log page' and the 'email requested' are, again, for the customer exports, to indicate whether they've successfully received the export via email or not.
The same implementation can be mapped to external users or customers as we currently have for users using the tool (see screenshot below).
