Hi Ron
Thank you for raising this request.
If I understand correctly, you're looking to automatically redirect users who don't have access to a specific article to a replicated version of that article which they do have access to—instead of showing a 404 error page.
While Document360 currently supports replicating an article across different versions/languages/categories (as detailed here: https://docs.document360.com/docs/managing-articles#replicating-an-article), this functionality doesn’t include auto-redirect logic based on access permissions.
To better understand the use case, could you please clarify:
- Are the replicated articles you're referring to intended for different user groups or access levels (e.g., internal vs. external)?
- Should the redirection be automatic, or would showing a message with a link to the accessible version be acceptable?
- Is this requirement applicable for private KB projects only, or do you see this being used in public KBs as well?
Looking forward to your response so we can evaluate the enhancement appropriately.

Hi Mohamed Shakheen,
Are the replicated articles you're referring to intended for different user groups or access levels (e.g., internal vs. external)? We only have private workspaces in Document360.
Should the redirection be automatic, or would showing a message with a link to the accessible version be acceptable? Yes, automatic.
Is this requirement applicable for private KB projects only, or do you see this being used in public KBs as well? We only have private KB projects.
