Move multiple articles at once

Sometimes when we've created a sub-category with multiple articles in it, we later decide that we don't like the arrangement and we want to move all the articles in that sub-category somewhere else. It would be great to be able to shift-click or something to select and move multiple articles around at once, rather than having to click and drag each article at a time through the entire list.

Serenity blue Mollusk did you check the "Bulk operations" sections, it will help you to perform bulk operations like move, publish, delete, etc.

Saravana Kumar: Hi, Saravana - yes, I've seen that, but that really only helps if I want to move them from one category to another. It doesn't appear to help if I want to reorder them within the category, unless I'm missing something. Like say they're in order 1234, but I want to rearrange them to be in 3142; I have to drag them around manually, and if I'm doing that with a group of articles it's very difficult.

It's very difficult to rearrange the order of articles in general. They don't always go where they're supposed to, and the process is very slow.
