Markdown view available in advanced WYSIWYG mode

The markdown view supports viewing the markdown side by side with the WYSIWYG (preview) view. I can open and close either one as necessary. I want to have the same user experience for advanced WYSIWYG so that I have the additional features available in the advanced version, but can still view my markdown side by side.

hi 7Lime Elk,
Thank you for the clarity. We will connect with you when we are planning to pick this feature for further inputs. For now, let us have this in our backlog to track the traction of this request.

hi Lime Elk,
We want to make sure the Advanced WYSIWYG editor is adhering to the "What You See Is What You Get" principle. This is the reason we are trying to bring in parity between the KB site and the KB portal.
In the markdown editor, though we can collapse and see either of the views, we are not allowing the editing in the WYSIWYG view.
Can you please let us know why you would like the markdown view in the Advanced WYSIWYG editor, are you expecting that you should be able to write the article in the Markdown syntax as well in the same article.

Whole Kite Hi,
I want to see the formatting, and adjust the formatting directly in markdown on occasion. I prefer to have a more granular level of control than what's available strictly via the toolbar, because it's very limiting.
