Mandatory Acknowledgement for Updates

When a new/updated article is published, it should appear as a mandatory pop-up when users log into the documentation. They should only be able to proceed after acknowledging the update. Tracking at an individual agent level with timestamps is required.

Hi Kavi Sri Rajagopal,
Thanks for sharing this idea! A mandatory pop-up for new or updated articles—along with per-user acknowledgment tracking—could definitely support compliance or training-related workflows. To understand the requirement better, could you clarify a few points?
Would this pop-up need to appear for every user or only for specific roles/groups?
Should the pop-up show just the updated article, or a list of all updates since the user last logged in?
How strict should the acknowledgement be—does the user need to open and read the article, or is clicking “I’ve seen this” enough?
How long should the pop-up remain active? Until acknowledged, or only for a defined period?
For tracking: what level of detail do you need (e.g., timestamp of when each user viewed/acknowledged, version history, etc.)?
Your answers will help us understand the use case more clearly and evaluate potential approaches.
