Hi team, I am raising the request on behalf of the customer. It is an enhancement request in the feedback manager module where the feedback status will be set to open when we notify the end users about the reply to the feedback.
Please find the use-case shared below:
"If we toggle the button to let users know of the progress we made on the feedback they left us, it may not be immediately resolved. So switching the "notify users" toggle on should instead let users be notified/sent an email when status of the ticket changes or more comments are added in the feedback thread. Closing the ticket and then leaving NO way to re-open the ticket for them to track progress is not the way to go.
For example, we may want to notify users on a feedback to let them know we have acknowledged their feedback, and we have started working on it. Closing the ticket in this situation leads them to believe that the ticket was resolved and the changes should be live in the site, which is not the case here"
