Links to articles in PDF documents
backlog
Nevila Quaas
While, generating a PDF document, we have noticed that links inside articles redirect the reader to the knowledge base. Readers could be reading a PDF file offline and in this case they won't be able to access/read the linked article/section. Could you please consider this into your improving plans?
Thank you

The title of this FR has a typo "arcticles". It makes it hard to search for.

H Nevila, Thanks for reaching out. We understand that the link you've mentioned in this feedback is regarding the internal links to the headings in the edit page to navigate to the appropriate headings of the same article.
Kindly let us know if you expect to navigate only within the article. If you have any information that could be useful for our analysis, please share it with us below. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

I have links in an article to other headers in the same article and due to the issue described on this page the links in the PDF go to the knowledgebase, rather than to the corresponding headers in the PDF. So, I need this feature too.

Yes, I need this feature as well

This is very important for us as we share PDF exports of various articles with external stakeholders. At the moment they are forced to register on our account to be able to access the links.

Hi Nevila Quaas, Thank you for your valuable feedback; Basically the online links should be converted to offline for the readers. we will definitely consider it based on priority and keep you updated.

Marshal Ebinezar: Thank you for considering my request and looking forward to seeing it applied :-)

This would be a great feature. Being able to incorporate the Headers into a PDF ToC would be a similar but related plus.

This would be a great feature to add.
