Issue with Bulk Permission Assignment in Document360

When assigning permissions to users, selecting the top-level category does not automatically select its subcategories. This results in having to manually check each subcategory, which can be time-consuming and inefficient. It would be beneficial if selecting a parent category automatically applied the same permissions to all nested subcategories to streamline the process.

Hi Fog Sloth, Thanks for sharing the feedback.
We understand your pain point. When selecting a parent category, the child categories should be automatically selected as well. We will analyze this and work towards a solution. We will keep you informed on any updates regarding this.

I have a similar issue but with hiding/unhiding content. When you apply a setting to a parent, the children should inherit that setting. At the very least, we should be asked if we want this setting to apply to the children or just to the parent.
