Improvement for Homepage Widgets: Recently Created & Recently Modified
under review

Currently, in the Knowledge Base homepage widgets, newly created and published articles appear in both “Recently Created Articles” and “Recently Modified Articles.”
However, this behavior is confusing and does not align with user expectations. Ideally:
Newly created and published articles should appear only in “Recently Created Articles”
Only articles that are updated and republished should appear in “Recently Modified Articles”

Hi Zinc white Blackbird , Tangerine Narwhal, Vijay Sakthivel,
Thank you for sharing this.
We understand the confusion where newly created articles appear in both “Recently Created” and “Recently Modified” widgets, which can make it harder for users to distinguish between new vs updated content.
We’ll take this as an improvement request to evaluate refining the widget logic so that:
Newly created and published articles appear only under Recently Created
Only updated and republished articles appear under Recently Modified
This will be reviewed based on priority, implementation scope, and customer traction, and we’ll share updates if this is taken up in future planning.

There are multiple inconsistencies with the way Document360 tracks New and Modified articles - I believe because multiple dates are needed for Create Date and Last Modified Date. Potentially, a new article that was subsequently edited within the same period should show up in both.
