Hyperlink to Variables

I have a variable in a heading. I then create a hyperlink that references the heading.
When I publish the article, the hyperlink doesn't work. The URL bar shows the correct address, but it just refreshes the page.
I reached out to Document360 Support, and they confirmed this isn't supported.
Please add the ability to hyperlink to a heading that has a variable.

Bianca Ragsdale thanks for the detailed information and feedback.We cannot predict the users' behavior on the same of adding variables to headings and linking that with other texts / headings. Anyways we will keep this request and based on user traction we will take it up for evaluation in future.
