highlighted text tools

I appreciate that when I highlight text in the block editor, I get a quick menu of commonly used tools. However, it would be nice if they were customizable because we don't really use a couple of them. At the very least, I would love to see the link tool added there because we use it quite a bit in our articles. The callout tool would be nice too.

Hi Rachelle, thanks for writing to us. Currently, our primary focus is on enhancing the user experience and the stability of the Block editor, and, as of now, customization is not part of our immediate plans.
However, we'd like to offer you a quick workaround that may help with inserting links. When you've selected your content in the edit page, you can use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+K." This keyboard shortcut allows you to efficiently insert a link into the content within the Block editor.
We will consider your feedback in our future action item to customize the floating menu bar and other possible actions. If you have any more suggestions or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Prabhakaran Parasuraman: Hey, just noticed that "Ctrl+K" gives a simplified version of the link tool where you can only enter the link text and a URL. Since we mainly link internal articles, it would be nice to have that "Seark & link to existing article" dropdown menu available in the "Ctrl+K" version. Thanks again!

Hi Rachelle Carson: Thanks for the response, we will evaluate this and check the technical feasibility of solving your use case. We will certainly add this to our action item and then try to implement the same as soon as possible.
The expectation is that when you select a context and provide 'ctrl+K,' the same pop-up window for the 'insert link' feature from the menu needs to be displayed. Kindly let me know if this will solve your use case. If it's yes, we will keep you posted on the same
Your understanding and patience are appreciated. If you would like to provide any feedback or suggestions, please feel free to reach out.

Prabhakaran Parasuraman: Yes, I would like to see "control
+k" mirror the "insert link" tool, if possible. Thanks for confirming.
