We need the ability to add categories of Glossary terms, so one word can have multiple glossary definitions depending on the subject.

Glossary-Based Search and Categorization Request
Karthikeyan J
This request was created on behalf of Emily
We would like to enable search specifically within a glossary, rather than across the main knowledge base. The intent is to use the glossary as a wiki-style repository focused exclusively on definitions.
Additionally, we would like the glossary entries to have their own dedicated tags or categories, separate from the main knowledge base. These tags/categories would help classify definitions based on teams, products, or domains.
Examples:
Team-based: Communications
Product-based: iPhone X
This would allow users to quickly find and filter definitions relevant to a particular team or product without navigating through standard articles.
Thank you.

Hi Lichen Halibut, Currently, we provide a glossary index page with its own search and a list of all glossary definitions on the KB site. You can read more about it here- https://docs.document360.com/docs/glossary-overview-page. We’re also planning to revamp Glossary into a Terminology Management module, where each term will include classifications, usage guidance, synonyms, and more. This enhancement is on our roadmap and should help address your use case.

+1 to this! Our current Glossary is in Airtable. We have classifications and provenance so that we can further group or filter terms. We also separate the term from the acronym. The Doc360 Glossary is limited to just a term and definition. It would be very beneficial to have the ability to further refine terms in the Glossary with a category or type as well as an acronym.
