Currently, the link status analytics and validation process includes all URLs, including media URLs (e.g., images, videos, and static assets). This leads to inflated link counts and unnecessary validation overhead.
Problem Statement
Media URLs are not meaningful for link health monitoring in the same way as navigational or content links. Including them in validation introduces the following issues:
-> Inflated Link Counts: Media-heavy pages significantly increase the number of URLs being tracked.
-> Quota Exhaustion Risk: Systems with validation limits may exceed thresholds prematurely due to large volumes of media URLs.
