Dark mode needs improvements

I'm a heavy user of dark mode in general. I was pleased Doc360 has one, but the out-of-the-box settings need improvement.
eg attached a screenshot of the search dropdown, the cancel button is near invisible.
The text really should be full on white instead of grey. I'm betting it doesn't pass AAA, and the slightly darker grey text as seen inside the search box in the screenshot probably fails AA.
There should be a spot where we can define colours for dark mode, instead of needing to add custom CSS for things like link colour.
I've had to add more CSS for tables, breadcrumb nav, and our logo to make dark mode legible.
Without the ability to easily control these things, dark mode is more harmful than helpful.

Adding to this request for dark mode improvements:
- Tables don't look great in dark mode: the lighter rows are too bright white in contrast to the darker rows. Hurts the eyes a bit.
- The hyperlink color, before clicking is also too bright. The color after clicking is good though.
- Bright white tiles of categories in dark mode are also hard on the eyes against the dark background.

Could dark mode functionality also be added to the Home, Search Results and What's New pages? It is very jarring to be navigating in dark mode and then have it suddenly switch to light mode and back again for pages that don't support it.
(If there is a way to enable dark mode for these pages already, please let me know.)
