Control Publishing of Existing Global Snippet Changes

Customers want the ability to edit an existing global snippet without the changes being reflected immediately on live articles where the snippet is already used.
They would like to make changes to the snippet in Draft or under review, while the currently published version continues to appear on live articles. Once the changes are ready, they should be able to publish the snippet and have the updated version reflected across all the relevant articles.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. We understand the need to make changes to an existing global snippet in Draft or Under Review while keeping the currently published version unchanged on live articles until the updated snippet is ready to be published.
At the moment, this capability is not part of our immediate roadmap. We’ve added the request to our product backlog and will continue to monitor its traction and customer demand. Based on the level of interest and adoption, we’ll evaluate and consider prioritizing it in a future roadmap.
