Category Title Changes Should Support Draft and Publish Workflow

Customers expect category title changes to follow the same publish workflow as articles. Currently, any update to a category title is reflected immediately on the live KB site, with no draft or publish control. This makes it difficult to stage or review changes before making them public.
Request to introduce a publish mechanism for categories similar to articles, allowing admins to edit category titles in draft mode and publish changes only when ready. This would improve change control, consistency, and prevent unintended updates from going live.

Thanks for highlighting this. We understand the concern - today, updates to Folder and Index category titles go live immediately, which limits review and change control compared to article workflows.
Before we assess this further, we’d like to clarify one key point:
- For Folder & Index categories, do you expect the draft/publish mechanism to apply only to the category title?
This will help us scope the solution correctly and evaluate alignment with the existing publish model.
