We're strongly interested in this feature. In general, we would like the frontend search filters to be much more configurable.

We're currently using a single-workspace setup, with multiple, self-contained languages. Our main structuring entity is the category, and to a lesser degree the tagging.

The currently available filtering options in the primary search bar (i.e. when the user clicks the filter icon) are almost completely irrelevant in this scenario. There are additional, much more relevant (for us) filters hidden behind the button "More search filters". For an improved user experience, we need them to be available in the quick filter menu.

There have been multiple negative user feedbacks about this, so we have a specific need for improvement in this area.

At present, Document360 already provides robust filtering capabilities within Main Search bar, including workspace- and language-level filters. Additionally, users can leverage Advanced Search, which offers granular filtering across workspace, language, tags, date, and categories. While these options enable precise refinement, your request highlights a need for faster, in-context filtering at the point of search entry.

To evaluate this effectively, we’d like to understand the use case of providing the categofy filter in the main search bar - specifically looking for a persistent, upfront category selector on the main search bar, or is the goal to reduce steps and surface category-based filtering without navigating to Advanced Search?
