Auto-populate Article Sections with Snippets During Import

The customer would like to request a feature that allows Document360 to automatically populate article sections using predefined snippets during the document import process.
Currently, their snippet structure follows a consistent heading hierarchy:
H2 headings are used for section banners such as Bug Fixes, Improvements, and New Features.
H3 headings are used for the corresponding subsection titles under each banner.
The requested enhancement is to detect this heading structure during import and automatically map the content to the corresponding predefined snippets, populating and formatting the article accordingly.
This capability would help streamline the import workflow and ensure consistent formatting across articles without requiring manual insertion of snippets after the document is imported.

Thank you for sharing this detailed use case.
We understand the requirement to automatically map imported content to predefined snippets based on a consistent heading hierarchy (H2 → section, H3 → subsection). This would help streamline the import workflow and ensure consistent formatting without manual effort.
We’ll take this as an improvement request and evaluate the feasibility of:
Detecting structured headings during import
Mapping them to predefined snippets/templates
Automating content population accordingly
This will be considered based on customer traction, priority, and implementation scope, and we’ll share updates if this is taken up in future planning.
