Still publish hidden articles in PDF

We work with customer-specific derivatives of general articles. For this purpose, we create a customer-specific new article, which is published as a PDF. Unfortunately, in order to extract the article as a pdf, we have to publish it and make it visible. Otherwise, it is not possible to include it in the PDF. However, it is therefore visible to all customers (in the short term)

Thanks for sharing this! To better understand the workflow, could you walk us through how you’re currently generating these customer-specific PDFs? It sounds like the need to briefly publish the article is causing visibility issues, so we’d love to learn more about the exact steps you’re taking.
Also, is there a reason the “Export to PDF” option in the editor wouldn’t work for this use case? That might allow you to generate the PDF without making the article publicly visible, but we’d like to understand your constraints before suggesting alternatives.
