Allow Exporting larger file sizes to PDF

As our documentation grows, exporting the content to PDF in many, many PDFs is unreasonable to request. I need to be able to create documentation for at least 500 MB of content and so a 15 MB limit is unreasonable and requires too many files to split it up.

Hi David Caroline - Thank you for sharing your request. I understand that the PDF of your site is currently quite large, which poses challenges when it comes to sharing it via email. To be considered an acceptable size, it should be within the limits.
To address this issue, we can explore options for compressing or optimizing the images in the PDF while maintaining an acceptable level of quality. This can help reduce the overall file size.
Our team will investigate similar techniques and settings to assist in reducing the file size of the PDF while ensuring that the quality remains at an acceptable level. We will keep you informed about any progress made in this regard and provide updates on the available solutions.

Hi David Caroline - Thank you for bringing your feature request to our attention. We highly value your feedback and recognize the significance of optimizing PDF exports to address concerns related to file size and content volume. In order to gain a better understanding of your specific requirements, would you kindly assist us by providing answers to the following questions? This will greatly assist us in further refining your request and tailoring a suitable solution.
- What is the average size of the PDF files you currently create? Is there a specific size limit that you consider inconvenient?
- Could you provide more information about the content you typically include in the PDF files? Are there specific elements, such as images or graphics, that contribute significantly to the file size?
- How important is the visual quality of the exported PDF files? Are you open to some level of image compression or optimization if it helps reduce the file size while maintaining acceptable quality?

Shakeer Hussain S: A PDF of our site is about 40,000 Mb, As you can see that is considered a large file.
An acceptable size, is a size that can be sent by email, and that of course depends on email systems. (10,000?
We have screen captures in our files - they are png files and each one is not particularly large.
We are open to some level of image compression or optimization if it helps reduce the file size while maintaining acceptable quality.
In the past I worked with FrameMaker and with adobe distiller which all had such settings.

Shakeer Hussain S: Thank you for your response. When looking at our requirements:
- We currently need to export 235 MB in a single PDF but I expect that to grow. Likely 400MB is sufficient for our mid-term requirements.
- Yes, there are images that contribute to the size of the PDF. These include both screenshots as well as other images (typically either JPEG or PNG format is our standard).
- Visually, as long as we can read the content we are open to image compression. For us this is a compliance issue and do not expect the content to be actually read very frequently other than quickly viewed.

- We have been able to create PDF files of larger sizes, but large PDF files is not convenient.
As part of such a feature we think that image optimization in PDF export is important, thus both allowing more content to be exported in a PDF and creating PDF files of a more reasonable size
