Advanced WYSIWYG editor – Article title visibility
under review
manoharan soundarraj
In the latest update to the Advanced WYSIWYG editor, the article title was relocated above the content to offer a cleaner, more focused editing experience—mirroring the view on the Knowledge Base site.
While this enhancement improves visual consistency, there are a couple of small usability areas where the experience could be made even smoother.
Current challenge
When working on multiple or lengthy articles, it can be a bit difficult to remember which article is currently being edited, especially if the category tree is collapsed or the user has scrolled far down the page. In such cases, the title is no longer visible on screen, which can make it easy to lose track of the article’s context.
Proposed enhancement
To help maintain context while editing, it might be helpful to dynamically update the browser tab title to include the article name.
For example, if the article is titled “AI Writer” and the project is Document360, the browser tab could display: AI Writer – Document360
Currently, the browser tab simply shows: Documentation – [Project Name]
This indicates which project is being worked on but doesn’t reflect the specific article being edited.
Adding the article name to the tab title could make it much easier to navigate between multiple tabs and maintain context during editing.

Article Name in browser Tab
N
Nilesh Kirti
Editors/Contributors working within the Customers project often engage with multiple articles simultaneously. To improve their workflow, they have requested that the article title be displayed in the browser tab, similar to the behavior on the Knowledge Base (KB) site. At present, the article name is not reflected in the browser tab title, nor is it visible when hovering over the tab. Introducing this functionality make it easier for editors to quickly identify and switch between articles during the editing process.

Use doc title when bookmarking an article in the portal
Steve Gray
I like to keep track of a set of open articles by bookmarking them on my (Chrome) browser. Unfortunately Doc360 saves the name as "Documentation - [ <company> ]" rather than using the actual article title. I need to manually update the Name field if I want to save the bookmark for later retrieval.

Hi Nilesh
Thank you for bringing this enhancement request to our attention.
We understand the importance of displaying the article title in the browser tab for editors and contributors who are frequently working across multiple articles. This change would align the editing experience more closely with the Knowledge Base site and streamline navigation by enabling quicker tab identification and switching.
We’ve marked this request as under review and will be analyzing its feasibility and potential impact on the authoring workflow. It's a thoughtful suggestion that could significantly improve productivity for content teams, and we appreciate you highlighting it.
We’ll keep you informed as we progress with our evaluation.
