ADHOC - Enlarge / zoom into pictures in knowledge base / documentation UI
planned
Arjan Ros
Readers have the option to click on an image, using the plus-sign. The UI tries to enlarge the image. However, in case of large images (esp. if the image is narrow yet tall, e.g. 1320 x 5532), it doesn't enlarge at all.
Can there be an option to enlarge pictures using a slider or an increase / zoom percentage, besides the current plus-sign option. Obviously, when zooming into a picture, parts will end up outside the user's screen, but that is fine, as long as the picture can be moved.
Something similar to how PDF files can be enlarged in Chrome.
Basically we're asking for a real image zoom function. Thanks for considering!

Merged in a post:
A zoom range (0-100%) should be added when a image is zoomed in the KB site.

Sometimes if the image length goes down the article and a scroll bar is required to view the entire image. In such cases, if we click on the image and zoom it, the zoomed in image appears to be smaller than the original image. In such scenarios, if the image contains text content, it is impossible for the readers to read the text content in a zoomed in image.
