Adding inline comments without editing

Currently, if an article is published, I can't see the comments on it, or leave a new comment. I need to click Edit to even see if anyone has left review feedback open on it.
This makes it very hard to collaborate on pages and make small improvements together in a fast way. If I leave a bunch of comments on a page, and someone fixes one of them and publishes, the other comments are not visible anymore. That's a lot of feedback going to waste.

This is a challenge similar to viewing the HTML of an Article. I must edit the Article just to view the HTML.

My use case is:
I would like to publish the beta version of the articles and even after the articles are published, I would like my reviewers to have the ability to add comments on those articles without changing the articles back to Draft status in bulk (which is not possible to do as per the current available options).
If this request is implemented, my reviewers will be able to add comments to a published article.

Commenting to say that I agree. It's difficult to not be able to at least view open comments when not in a draft state.

We have this on our roadmap, but we don't have an ETA for this item at this moment. We will let know once it's planned Krisztina.
