Add Project version to the Link Status Report
backlog
Mary Theis
Currently the Links Status report does not display the project version of the internal links.
When we fork to a new version, all links remain unchanged, pointing back to the source version articles.
We need to update some of the internal links to point to the newer version of our articles. It would be helpful to display the project version where these link occurs and filter the list based on the Project version.

Mary, the Link status report is always specific to the Project Version.
When forking the existing version/workspace, there is an option to select the internal links as New or Existing.
Kindly check this link - https://docs.document360.com/docs/adding-a-new-project-version#4-base-workspace
Thank you

Hi Mary Theis, Thanks for your input, Yes. This is not expected behavior. We will fix it in upcoming releases. When we fork to a new version, internal links of it should point to the current version and should not point to the original/old version.
Link status report is always specific to a particular project version, so we don’t have a version filter in the Grid view.
As a workaround, you can use the search filter to find your old version URLs and export the filtered report to CSV as shown below.

Marshal Ebinezar: Thanks for the information and workaround. Will give that a try.
