Thanks for looking into this Kavya

Our developers would like to document changes made to our product.

They can record the screen to do this.

But then, the content is stuck inside of the step-by-step guide article.

It would be beneficial to add snippets to scale or just text. In an ideal world, a step-by-step guide article would act and behave like a normal blank article.

So we'd like to be able to add:

(ii) Not necessarily. As we could just add this text into an existing step.

(iii) Step by step guide of how to view transactions but to include a snippet of a callout card used elsewhere to add additional, vital information that we can scale by updating the snippet only - not tens or hundreds of individual step by step guides.

(vi) Step by step guides will need to be reviewed. SMEs would need to add comments. And we'd need a content audit of whether it was approved or not. Currently, we can just publish or schedule publish. Perhaps this is a larger ask, but it'd be great if this type of page behaved like a normal blank article in every way. Happy to raise a separate ticket for (iv) if that's way out of scope!

To better understand the requirement, could you please share the intended use case for adding descriptive text between steps?

• What type of content would you like to add between steps (instructions, notes, warnings, explanations, section headers, etc.)?

• Would this text be used to group related steps into sections or provide additional context before the next action?

• Could you share a sample Step-by-Step Guide where this functionality would be beneficial?

This will help us better understand the workflow and evaluate the requirement.
